About The Position

The Carpenter Helper assists with constructing, erecting, stripping, and/or repairing structures made of steel, wood, or plywood using carpenter’s hand and power tools in accordance with construction documents. The role may involve all listed duties, with the possibility of specializing in one or more areas. The position supports safe, productive, and effective work on construction projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• A minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Help install footing forms.
• Help build and install structural deck forms.
• Help set slab-on-grade forms.
• Help prepare and set tilt-up/precast forms.
• Help ensure a safe work environment.
• Participate in training and certifications.
