About The Position

Brasfield & Gorrie is accepting applications for a Carpenter Helper. Requirements

• One year of commercial construction carpentry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help carpenters by performing duties of lesser skill.
• Use, supply, or hold materials or tools, and clean work areas and equipment.
• Build rough wooden structures, including vertical and horizontal concrete forms, gang forms, column forms, scaffolds, sewer supports, billboard signs, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions.
• May assist carpenters with interior carpentry tasks such as installing doors, wall forms, trim work, and hardware.
• Operate hand and power tools as required.
• Adhere to safety protocols and work in a drug-free environment.
