Carpenter Engineer IV Full Time Days
About The Position
The Carpenter Engineer IV responds to maintenance requests received through the Work Order Management System and communication with hospital staff. The role handles routine and emergency maintenance calls for complex systems and monitors the operating condition of facility HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and medical systems. It performs routine maintenance according to the scheduled preventive maintenance program. The position requires a high level of carpentry experience, particularly with metal studs and drywall. Patient care and infection control standards are a top priority and must guide all activities. The role may require work outside regularly scheduled shifts, in inclement weather, or during emergencies. Engineering department employees are required to use the CMMS work order system to communicate across the organization and manage activities and assets.
Requirements
- Two years of relevant experience required.
- Valid driver's license required.
Nice To Haves
- Adequate knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry preferred.
- High level of carpentry experience, particularly with metal studs and drywall.
