About The Position

Carnegie Mellon University is seeking outstanding postdoctoral researchers for the Carnegie Bosch Postdoctoral Fellowship for the Fall Semester of 2026. This two-year fellowship, sponsored by the Carnegie Bosch Institute (CBI), supports high-potential research in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity/privacy, robotics, and sustainability. Fellows will be provided with resources, flexibility, and an environment to address "grand challenge" style problems in collaboration with faculty hosts. This fellowship offers a remarkable opportunity to shape the next generation of research and develop academic careers. Recipients are expected to disseminate their research widely and will be provided resources for conference travel and registration.

Requirements

  • Doctorate Degree required.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, reasoning and analytical skills.
  • A combination of education and proven experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
