Cargo Claims Specialist (Remote)
About The Position
Trinity Logistics is seeking an inquisitive, detail-oriented Cargo Claims Specialist with a minimum of two years of claims experience. The position may be remote and is responsible for protecting Trinity’s assets and best interests by processing cargo claims and providing solutions throughout the claims process. The specialist serves as an in-house claims expert for Trinity’s customers and carriers, working independently on assigned claims while also collaborating with a supportive team. The role calls for patience, poise, strong customer service, and a commitment to Trinity’s service-driven culture and guiding values.
Requirements
- At least two years of in-house claims processing experience.
- Two years of claims and operational logistics experience is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a pleasant, professional demeanor on the phone and in email.
- Proven planning and organizational abilities.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.
- Problem-solving and inquisitive approach.
- Positive, friendly attitude and ability to gain cooperation from across departments and team members.
- Goal-oriented and willing to seek knowledge and improve skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Commitment to living Trinity’s Guiding Values.

Responsibilities
- Process cargo claims.
