About The Position

Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. is hiring a full-time, first-shift Caretaker at the ODOT I-70 eastbound and westbound location in Hebron/Buckeye Lake. The position pays $17.50 per hour and includes a $250 signing bonus. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Paid training is provided. Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. provides training, employment, and support services to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Snow removal and landscaping are required; training is provided.
• Ability to bend, walk long distances, squat, and stoop.
• Ability to stand for four hours with a break.
• Communicate well with the public.
• Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms.
• Take out the trash.
• Sanitize, sweep, vacuum, mop, and dust.
• Perform outdoor grounds work, including mowing, weeding, mulching, planting, and trimming trees.
• Pick up litter and debris in the parking lot and empty grills.
• Perform snow removal during the winter season.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
