About The Position

Grand Canyon University (GCU) partners with Where Hope Lives, a Phoenix nonprofit offering a long-term residential program for survivors of human trafficking focused on healing from trauma and building the life skills needed to live independently. This Federal Work-Study Community Service Learning Program (FWS-CSLP) position provides services to non-GCU community members and is intended to improve the quality of life of community residents. The work schedule depends on Where Hope Lives’ operating hours and needs. During the fall and spring academic year, CSLP student workers may not work more than 20 hours per week. Applicants must complete the FAFSA and be reviewed for and awarded FWS eligibility. Four positions are available; the posting states that applicants must be female and encourages Social Work and Counseling students to apply.
