About The Position

TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one, in-home support to aging adults in Santa Clarita. Available schedules include short morning and evening shifts Monday through Sunday, with a specific shift from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• Must work weekends.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration; the employer can help obtain it upon hire, subject to state background requirements.
• Valid driver's license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
• TB clearance or chest X-ray.
• Must comply with applicable state background screening requirements and California fingerprint identification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients one-to-one with personal care, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
• Drive clients to appointments, outings, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, and other activities.
• Provide care related to dementia, transfers, bed-bound needs, and incontinence, as applicable to client assignments.
