About The Position
TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care for aging adults in Santa Clarita and other Valley locations. The role includes short morning and evening shifts, with schedules available Monday through Sunday. Weekend availability is preferred in the overview, and the qualifications state that caregivers must work weekends. Location-specific care needs include dementia support, transfers, transportation to outings, bed-bound care, incontinence care, hospice care, and Hoyer lift assistance. Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
- Must work weekends.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- California HCA Registration; the employer can help obtain it upon hire, subject to state background requirements.
- Valid driver's license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
- TB clearance or chest X-ray.
- Must comply with applicable state background screening requirements and California fingerprint identification requirements.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients one-on-one in their homes with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
- Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and shop for groceries.
- Provide companionship through games, puzzles, and other social and emotional activities.
- Support clients with dementia, transfers, transportation to outings, bed-bound care, and incontinence care, as applicable to the assignment.
- Provide hospice care and assist with Hoyer lifts, as applicable to the assignment.
