About The Position

TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home support to aging adults in Santa Clarita and other Valley locations. The role includes short shifts, with morning and evening shifts available. Specific client needs include dementia care, transfers, transportation to outings, bed-bound care, incontinence care, hospice care, and use of Hoyer lifts. Schedules are available Monday through Sunday, and weekend availability is required. The position offers pay of $20–$23 per hour. Full-time and part-time work are available. Caregivers help clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. Requirements

At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
Must work weekends.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
California HCA registration, which TheKey can help obtain upon hire, and compliance with state background requirements.
Valid driver’s license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
TB clearance or chest X-ray.

Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one assistance to clients in their homes.
Assist with personal care, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Drive clients to appointments and outings, run errands, and shop for groceries.
Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, and other activities.
Support clients with dementia, transfers, bed-bound care, incontinence care, hospice care, and Hoyer lifts as needed.
