Full-Time Hospice Caregiver Needed – Day & Overnight Shifts | McKinney, TX
About The Position
Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking experienced, dependable, and compassionate caregivers to support a hospice client in the client’s home in McKinney, Texas. The role provides continuous care, comfort, and assistance as part of a 24/7 care team, with day and overnight shifts available. It is suited to caregivers comfortable providing hands-on personal care for a client with significant mobility limitations. Experience with hospice patients, bed-bound individuals, or clients who need extensive daily assistance is strongly preferred. Hindi-speaking caregivers are encouraged to apply to support clear communication and a familiar, comfortable care environment.
Requirements
- Previous professional caregiving experience is required.
- Comfort providing hands-on personal care and hygiene assistance.
- Ability to assist with repositioning, mobility, and daily living activities.
- Patient, respectful, and compassionate approach.
- Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to scheduled shifts.
- Ability to follow care instructions and agency policies.
- Reliable transportation to and from the client’s home.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with hospice, bed-bound, or high-assistance clients is strongly preferred.
- Hindi-speaking ability is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide incontinence care and change briefs as needed.
- Reposition the client and assist with mobility.
- Help with transfers and other hands-on personal care needs.
- Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable care environment.
- Offer companionship, reassurance, and attentive supervision.
- Monitor the client’s condition and promptly report changes or concerns to appropriate agency staff.
- Follow the established plan of care and agency guidelines.
- Communicate and coordinate with the client’s family, hospice professionals, and fellow caregivers.
- Support continuity of care through dependable attendance and clear communication.
