About The Position

As a Caregiver at Sevita, you will help people grow, learn, and live well while developing meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve. You will support participants in pursuing their personal goals and taking part in their communities and favorite activities. The role includes assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. The posted schedule is Saturday and Sunday, either 9 a.m.–9 p.m. or 10 a.m.–8 p.m., at the Denton, Texas site. Pay is $9.00 per hour, with opportunities for approved overtime.

Requirements

• Current, valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history without restrictions.
• Access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
