About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors in Adams County, Pennsylvania. The organization emphasizes reliable, high-quality care and a supportive work environment, with flexible scheduling that allows caregivers to choose shifts and build consistent hours, often with one or two regular clients. Visiting Angels has served seniors across Cumberland, Franklin, and Adams Counties for over 21 years and has been recognized as a Home Care Pulse “Employer of Choice” for eight consecutive years.

Available schedules include full-time or part-time hours, shifts ranging from 2 hours to 10 or more hours, weekdays or weekends, and potential live-in assignments with a separate pay range. Compensation is $15.00–$16.00 per hour based on experience and shift, with additional shift gas supplements, an attendance incentive, and mileage reimbursement when transporting clients.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of hands-on personal care experience.
• At least 6 months of bathing and toileting experience.
• Family caregiving experience is accepted.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Run errands for clients.
• Perform light housekeeping.
