Overnight Caregiver- Adams County, PA (Flexible shifts)
About The Position
Visiting Angels is seeking caregivers to serve clients in Adams County, Pennsylvania. The organization provides in-home support to seniors and emphasizes reliable, high-quality care, empathy, integrity, and dedication. Caregivers may choose flexible shifts and can build steady hours, often with one or two consistent clients. Schedules may include short or extended shifts, weekdays, weekends, and possible live-in work, which has a separate pay range. Full-time or part-time hours are available. The listed pay is $17.00–$17.50 per hour, based on experience and shift. Caregivers receive a $5 gas supplement for each shift, a $0.50-per-hour attendance incentive, and mileage reimbursement at the national rate when transporting clients. The role includes paid virtual or in-person training and a yearly pay increase. Part-time employees may have the opportunity to take additional hours if they want them.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of hands-on personal care experience.
- At least 6 months of bathing and toileting experience.
- Family caregiving experience is accepted.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
