About The Position

Companions Forever is hiring a part-time Caregiver in Branford, Connecticut. The role provides non-medical home care to clients according to individualized Plans of Care, supporting their independence and comfort at home. Shifts may be available on weekdays, weekends, overnight, and live-in, with flexible scheduling. The job includes transportation, household assistance, personal care, companionship, and documenting care and reminders as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability is preferred.

• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist clients with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
