About The Position

Right at Home is seeking a compassionate and dependable part-time In Home Companion Caregiver to help seniors and vulnerable adults live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. The role involves providing personal care, companionship, emotional support, and assistance with everyday activities. The organization serves clients across the Rogue Valley, including Medford, Ashland, Jacksonville, Eagle Point, White City, Central Point, Phoenix, and Talent. Training, ongoing support, and career development are provided. The position is based in Medford, Oregon.

Requirements

• Successfully pass a background check.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid ID.
• Be compassionate, reliable, and positive.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving, CNA, PCA, HHA, or companion care experience is welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transportation.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment.
• Follow individual care plans and accurately document daily care notes using a mobile app.
• Communicate effectively with the office team.
