Hmong/English Speaking Caregiver
About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care is seeking a compassionate Hmong/English-speaking Caregiver to provide in-home services to clients in the local area. Caregivers help clients remain safe and independent in their own homes by assisting with activities of daily living, personal care, meals, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and companionship. Prior experience is not required. The employer provides paid initial and ongoing training, flexible scheduling, and a supportive work atmosphere. Compensation is $12.00–$18.00 per hour, based on certifications and experience. Daily Pay is available, allowing employees to receive pay the day after working.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check as required by state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning meal preparation areas, and eating as needed.
- Provide personal care, including baths, dressing, grooming, denture care, and skin care.
- Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, taking out trash, dusting, cleaning the refrigerator, and washing and putting away dishes.
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away laundry, including using a laundromat if needed.
- Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up medical supplies or prescriptions, and visiting the post office.
- Assist with activities of daily living, shopping, transportation, and telehealth visits.
- Provide companionship.
- Be reliable, dependable, punctual, and rarely absent from work.
