About The Position
Allpro Staffnet d/b/a Allpro Homecare is seeking a Caregiver to provide quality non-medical homecare to veterans. Duties vary according to each client’s service plan and may include companionship and emotional support, housekeeping, assistance with mobility and transfers, personal care, meal preparation, and toileting. Caregivers must report unusual events to the administrator and respond quickly and responsibly to emergencies. Other duties may be assigned as described in the client’s service plan. Shifts are available Sunday through Saturday based on client needs, and part-time or full-time hours are available depending on those needs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must pass a New Hampshire National background check.
- Must complete state-required TB testing.
- Must complete a state-required physical.
- One year of caregiver experience.
- Valid driver’s license or state ID and reliable daily transportation.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
- Adequate physical endurance.
Responsibilities
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Perform housekeeping.
- Assist clients with transfers and ambulation, including use of a cane, walker, wheelchair, or Hoyer Lift as applicable to the client.
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Plan, prepare, and serve meals, with client assistance when they are able.
- Assist clients with toileting, including use of a bedpan or toilet.
- Report unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
- Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
- Complete other duties within the client service plan.
