About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring caregivers to serve clients around Franklin County, Pennsylvania. The role provides in-home support to seniors, helping them remain safe and comfortable at home. Caregivers may work flexible part-time hours, with the potential to take on more hours if desired. Available schedules include 2-hour, 8-hour, and 10+ hour shifts on weekdays and weekends, with live-in work potentially available under a separate pay range. This is not a PRN position.

The company describes a supportive work environment focused on empathy, integrity, and dedication, with consistent scheduling and the possibility of working with one or two regular clients. Compensation is $15.50–$17.50 per hour, based on experience and shift, plus a $5 shift gas supplement and a $0.50-per-hour attendance incentive. Mileage is reimbursed when transporting clients. Paid virtual or in-person training and yearly pay increases are offered.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of hands-on personal care experience.
• At least 6 months of bathing and toileting experience.
• Family caregiving experience is accepted.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification is a plus.
