About The Position

TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home support for aging adults in Central and South Austin and surrounding areas. Caregivers help clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, errands, and companionship. The role offers full-time and part-time availability, multiple shifts, and pay of $17–$19 per hour. Caregivers must comply with state background screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.

Requirements

• At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Comply with state background screening requirements.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• If transporting clients, have a valid driver's license and access to a fully insured and registered personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
• Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
• Drive clients to appointments and assist with errands and grocery shopping, when able to transport clients.
• Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, and other activities.
