About The Position
TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one, in-home support to aging adults in North/Central Austin and surrounding areas. Caregivers help clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. TheKey describes itself as a provider of private-pay in-home care for seniors, with local teams supporting caregivers and a focus on helping clients maintain a healthy mind, body, and spirit. Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
- Comply with state background screening requirements.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
- Provide light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and take them grocery shopping.
- Provide companionship through games, puzzles, and other activities that offer social and emotional support.
