About The Position

Touchmark at Georgetown is hiring full-time Caregivers to support residents in its assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. Caregivers help ensure residents receive dignified, high-quality care and provide a positive, supportive presence for residents and their family members. Available shifts are 6:00 AM–2:00 PM and 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, mobility, and toileting. Caregivers also provide assistance and emotional support using the Best Friends Approach to dementia care, build relationships with residents, and contribute to a community grounded in excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.
• Willingness to continue learning and improving skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality.
• Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.
• Commitment to Touchmark’s values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, mobility, and toileting, as needed.
• Provide assistance and emotional support to residents using the Best Friends Approach to dementia care.
• Be a positive presence for residents and their family members.
• Build relationships with residents in the community.
• Model Touchmark’s values and encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers.
