About The Position

Sevita is hiring a full-time caregiver for day shifts at $15.00 per hour. Caregivers help people grow, learn, and live well by building meaningful relationships, supporting community participation and favorite activities, and helping participants work toward goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The role also includes assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs. Sevita describes the work as an opportunity to take initiative and exercise ownership and trust while helping participants.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 19 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
• Help participants take part in the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
