About The Position
Comfort Keepers is seeking caring, dependable, and compassionate caregivers to support local seniors and veterans in Gouldsboro, Pennsylvania. Caregivers provide comfort, companionship, and practical assistance during morning and midday visits. Duties may include preparing meals, assisting with daily activities and routines, accompanying clients to appointments and errands, and offering mobility support and reminders. The role offers flexible scheduling and paid onboarding and training. Caregivers have access to 24/7 administrative support.
Requirements
- Be caring, patient, dependable, and passionate about helping seniors.
- Be comfortable working in pet-friendly homes.
- Have a valid driver's license and a reliable, insured personal vehicle.
- Be punctual and able to communicate effectively.
- No previous healthcare certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and engage clients in friendly conversations and meaningful activities.
- Prepare nutritious home-cooked meals and help maintain clean, comfortable living spaces.
- Transport or accompany clients to appointments and local errands.
- Provide medication and hydration reminders and assist with daily routines.
- Support seniors and veterans with mobility assistance, encouragement, and compassionate care.
