About The Position

Care Managers provide loving care to residents and build strong relationships while assisting with activities of daily living. They work with a supportive team in a family-like environment and are encouraged to share creative solutions that improve residents’ lives. The position is based in Longmont and offers full-time schedules of 12-hour shifts, three times per week, with every other weekend and a two-week rotation. Day shifts are 6 a.m.–6 p.m.; night shifts are 6 p.m.–6 a.m. Pay range: $19.50–$20.50.

Requirements

Demonstrate the core values of Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, and Respect.
Hold First Aid certification as required.
Be able to read and write English and communicate effectively in English; understand and follow written and oral directions.
Know procedures and techniques involved in providing resident care services and personal care, and care for equipment and supplies.
Understand universal precautions for preventing infection or contamination.
Be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procurement manuals.
Provide resident-care services within the limits of delegated tasks.
Use good judgment to recognize symptoms indicating a change in a resident’s condition.
Attend monthly in-service education within the community, as required by law.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with developing and reviewing residents’ care plans in conjunction with other disciplines.
Ensure residents’ privacy, respect, and dignity.
Detect, correct, and report unsafe conditions that could harm a resident.
Support residents’ physical comfort, safety, and mental well-being.
Assist with daily care and treatment tasks, including toileting, grooming, bathing, feeding, dressing, observing food intake, hair and nail care, moving residents between areas, and responding to calls.
