Caregiver PM SHIFT 2 PM-10:30 PM

Fair Oaks Estates•Carmichael, CA
•$17 - $18•Onsite

About The Position

Fair Oaks Estates is hiring a full-time evening Caregiver at its assisted living and memory care community in Carmichael, California. The role provides direct resident care during the evening shift, helping residents through dinner, personal-care routines, activities, and bedtime. Caregivers support residents with dementia through late-day confusion and restlessness using patience, reassurance, and redirection. Medication tasks are handled by Med Techs, not caregivers. The schedule is 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM on a repeating four-days-on, two-days-off rotation. Days off rotate through the week, and the role includes some weekends and holidays. Schedules are managed through an app that allows employees to view upcoming rotations, pick up open shifts, trade shifts with coworkers, and request time off. The position includes paid initial training and annual paid continuing education. Health coverage is available to regular full-time employees beginning the first of the month after 90 days. Employees accrue paid sick leave, available after 90 days, and regular full-time employees receive paid vacation after one year of continuous employment. Scrubs and low-heeled, closed-toe, slip-resistant shoes are required and supplied by the employee. Fingerprint clearance, a health screening, and a TB test must be completed at the applicant’s expense before the first day.
