About The Position

The Caregiver, also known as a Resident Assistant (RA), provides services to maintain and support residents’ activities of daily living under the supervision of a Nurse. The role is responsible for delivering strong customer service with courtesy, dignity, and respect. Available schedules include AM (7:00 AM–3:30 PM), PM (3:00 PM–11:30 PM), NOC (11:00 PM–7:30 AM), and 12-hour weekend shifts for Lead Caregivers. The workplace is conveniently located on a bus line.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of nursing or resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills and experience with, or ability to learn, electronic health record systems.
• Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to be flexible with hours, shift schedules, and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other designated care.
• Assist residents with dining.
• Perform homemaking tasks.
• Respond to and report changes in residents’ health status and recommendations for changes to residents’ plans of care.
• Complete thorough daily charting.
• Collaborate with other community team members to deliver The Waters Way.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
