About The Position

TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home support to aging adults in Palm Desert, Indian Wells, and surrounding communities. The role includes personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. Licensed drivers are needed, and flexible scheduling is available, with all shifts currently open. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Caregivers must meet state background-screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States. In California, timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification is required as a condition of employment. A conditional offer will be rescinded if an applicant has been convicted of a non-exemptible crime, in compliance with applicable state and local laws. Additional eligibility requirements, compensation, benefits, and bonuses may vary by state and location.

Requirements

Be eligible to work in the United States.
Comply with state background-screening requirements.
Be a licensed driver.
In California, provide timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Drive clients to appointments and run errands, including grocery shopping.
Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, and other activities.
