About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is urgently hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to support seniors in Shutesbury, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities. The family-owned home care agency helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. The role may suit experienced CNAs, HHAs, PCAs, or homemakers, as well as people starting a caregiving career. Previous caregiving experience is a plus but is not always required; free training is available for qualified applicants. Pay is $18–$21 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Shifts of 8–12 hours are available, with flexible and consistent scheduling options for days, overnights, weekdays, and weekends. Immediate start opportunities are available. Qualified new hires may earn a $250 sign-on bonus after their first 90 days if they work at least 20 hours per week and have no unexcused absences during that period.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving experience is a plus but is not always required.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
Prepare meals and assist with daily routines.
Perform light housekeeping and laundry, and run errands.
Provide medication reminders.
Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions.
Deliver compassionate, respectful, and dependable care while supporting client safety and independence.
