About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide quality in-home care to seniors in Huntington, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities. The role is open to experienced PCAs, HHAs, CNAs, and homemakers, as well as applicants starting a caregiving career. Caregivers help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes while offering companionship, dignity, encouragement, and peace of mind to clients and their families.

Pay is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, certifications, and qualifications. Scheduling opportunities include flexible and consistent schedules, 8- to 12-hour shifts, day and overnight shifts, and weekday and weekend work. Qualified new caregivers may earn a $250 sign-on bonus after completing their first 90 days, provided they work at least 20 hours per week and have no unexcused absences during that period.

Free training is available to qualified applicants, including those who do not yet have HHA or CNA certification. The employer describes the position as meaningful work supporting clients' independence and well-being. Walk-in applications are welcome at the Amherst office, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Prepare meals according to clients' preferences and dietary needs.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Run essential errands and grocery shop.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Observe clients and report changes to the appropriate supervisor.
• Help clients maintain a safe and comfortable home.
• Provide respectful, dependable, and compassionate care.
