About The Position

Amada Senior Care is growing and actively hiring caring individuals to join their team as caregivers. Caregivers play an important role in helping seniors and veterans remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. This role is for individuals who have a passion for helping others and enjoy providing companionship and support. The company is hiring caregivers in Jasper and surrounding East Texas communities.

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
• Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and professionally
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel to client homes in assigned service areas
• Must successfully pass required background checks and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Experience with gait belts and Hoyer lifts is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• Provide medication reminders
• Transport clients to appointments and errands as needed
• Monitor client safety and well-being
• Encourage independence and help maintain daily routines
• Follow individual care plans and communicate concerns to the appropriate office staff
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment
