About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring caregivers to provide in-home care to seniors in Lanesborough, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities. The role supports older adults in remaining safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Applicants may have experience as a PCA, HHA, CNA, or homemaker, but people new to caregiving are also encouraged to apply and can receive free training. Pay is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, certifications, and qualifications. Flexible and consistent scheduling opportunities are available, including 2- to 12-hour shifts, daytime and overnight shifts, and weekday and weekend work. Qualified new caregivers may earn a $250 sign-on bonus after completing their first 90 days, provided they work at least 20 hours per week and have no unexcused absences during those 90 days.

Caregivers help clients with personal care, companionship, household tasks, errands, medication reminders, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home. The employer offers free training and support from a dedicated office team. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care.
• Provide companionship and emotional encouragement.
• Prepare meals based on client preferences and dietary needs.
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Run essential errands when needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Observe clients and report changes to the appropriate supervisor.
• Help clients maintain a safe and comfortable home.
• Provide respectful, dependable, and compassionate care.
