About The Position

Best Home Health Care LLC is hiring a part-time caregiver to support an elderly client in Wauchula, Florida. The position is scheduled for 29 hours per week, Sunday through Wednesday. Morning shifts run from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Sunday through Wednesday. Evening shifts run from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday through Tuesday, with no Wednesday evening shift. The caregiver will assist with daily living and personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, companionship, and the client's safety and comfort.

Requirements

• Current CPR certification.
• Level 2 background screening.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Be compassionate, dependable, and patient.
• Be available for both morning and evening shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
• HHA or CNA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the elderly patient with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers as needed.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Ensure the patient's safety and comfort throughout each shift.
