About The Position
Best Home Health Care LLC is hiring a part-time Caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), or CNA to support an elderly client in Wauchula, Florida. The role is scheduled for 29 hours per week, Sunday through Wednesday, with both morning and evening shifts. Morning shifts run Sunday through Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Evening shifts run Sunday through Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM; there is no Wednesday evening shift. The caregiver will assist the client with activities of daily living, personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, companionship, and safety and comfort throughout each shift.
Requirements
- Current CPR certification.
- Level 2 background screening.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient.
- Must be available for both morning and evening shifts.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
- HHA or CNA certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist the elderly patient with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and safe transfers as needed.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout each shift.
