About The Position

Brightstar Care is hiring compassionate Caregivers to support clients in Huntington Beach, Long Beach, and surrounding areas. The role is performed in person and offers shifts from 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am, Monday through Sunday. Pay is $21 per hour, with $23 per hour for VA shifts, and employees are paid weekly.

Caregivers provide companionship and practical assistance with clients’ daily needs, including transfers, personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and occasional transportation for errands or appointments. Candidates must have at least one year of caregiving experience or a current CNA, HCA, HHA, PCA, or DSP credential, be able to commute reliably to the job location, and pass a criminal background check.

Requirements

• At least one year of caregiving experience or current CNA, HCA, HHA, PCA, or DSP credentials.
• Ability to reliably commute to the job location.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with activities, transfers, and gait belt safety and supervision.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals.
• Support personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide occasional transportation for errands or appointments.
