About The Position

BrightStar Care of Southern Orange County is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide support to a client in Dana Point, California. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the work is performed in person. Pay is $21 per hour, with $23 per hour for VA cases, and employees are paid weekly by direct deposit.

Caregivers provide companionship and conversation, transportation, activity and mobility support, medication reminders, meal preparation, personal hygiene assistance, and light housekeeping. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen. At least one year of caregiving experience or a listed care-related credential is preferred.

Requirements

• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen (required).
• Be able to commute to Dana Point, CA 92629 (required).

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of caregiving experience or credentials such as CNA, HCA, HHA, PCA, or DSP (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Provide transportation for appointments, errands, and emergencies.
• Support activities, mobility, light walking, or exercise.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals.
• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Perform light housekeeping.
