About The Position

BrightStar Care is hiring compassionate caregivers to care for clients in Huntington Beach, Long Beach, and surrounding areas. Shifts are available Monday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The position is part-time, pays $21 per hour (or $23 per hour for VA shifts), and is performed in person. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Huntington Beach, California, and pass a criminal background check.

Requirements

• At least one year of caregiving experience, or current CNA, HCA, HHA, PCA, or DSP credentials.
• Ability to reliably commute to Huntington Beach, CA 92647.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with activities, transfers, and use of a gait belt.
• Provide safety and supervision.
• Give medication reminders.
• Prepare meals.
• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Occasionally provide transportation for errands or appointments.
