About The Position
BrightStar Care is hiring compassionate and dependable Caregivers to support clients in The Woodlands, North Houston, and surrounding communities. Caregivers provide personalized one-on-one assistance to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home while building meaningful relationships. Assignments typically range from 4 to 12 hours. Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts are available. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of caregiving or healthcare experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Current auto insurance.
- Recent TB test or chest X-ray.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Demonstrate compassion, dependability, respect, professionalism, integrity, and commitment to high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized one-on-one care based on each client's needs.
- Assist with personal care.
- Provide companionship.
- Prepare meals.
- Give medication reminders.
- Support client mobility.
- Provide transportation.
- Perform light housekeeping.
