About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes in the Star City area. Caregivers assist with daily activities and provide companionship, emotional support, and peace of mind to clients and their families. The role is open to experienced caregivers and people new to caregiving; training, support, and resources are provided.

Requirements

Be compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting or incontinence care.
Provide mobility assistance and help clients with transfers.
Give medication reminders.
Transport clients to appointments and errands.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
