About The Position

Assisting Hand Home Care Northern Summit is hiring compassionate, experienced caregivers for short and long shifts, offering the flexibility to choose shifts that fit your day. This role allows you to pick the shifts you want, work when you want, and make caregiving fit your life. We serve clients in Hudson, Stow, Cuyahoga Falls, Tallmadge, Munroe Falls, Twinsburg, Macedonia, Streetsboro, Kent, Ravenna, Akron, and surrounding communities. Assisting Hands Home Care provides compassionate, dependable in-home care that helps individuals remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. Our care is rooted in dignity, respect, and personalized support, allowing clients to maintain their quality of life where they feel happiest. Requirements

• 1+ year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• STNAs and CNAs are welcome and encouraged to apply
• Compassionate, dependable, and attentive
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance
• Ability to safely assist with transfers and lift up to 50 lbs.
• If transporting clients, must be 21 years old per insurance requirements

• Hoyer experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and support with mobility
• Prepare meals
• Help keep the home safe and clean
• Support clients in maintaining their independence at home
