About The Position

Assisting Hand Home Care Northern Summit is hiring compassionate, experienced caregivers for short and long shifts, offering the flexibility to choose shifts that fit your day. This role allows you to pick the shifts you want and work when you want, making caregiving fit your life. We are hiring caregivers in Hudson, Stow, Cuyahoga Falls, Tallmadge, Munroe Falls, Twinsburg, Macedonia, Streetsboro, Kent, Ravenna, Akron, and surrounding communities. Whether you’re looking for a few hours or a longer shift, you choose what works for you.

Requirements

• 1+ year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• STNAs and CNAs are welcome and encouraged to apply
• Compassionate, dependable, and attentive
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance
• Ability to safely assist with transfers and lift up to 50 lbs.
• If transporting clients, must be 21 years old per insurance requirements

Nice To Haves

• Hoyer experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and support with mobility
• Prepare meals
• Help keep the home safe and clean
• Support clients in maintaining their independence at home
