About The Position

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care - Tracy is seeking an experienced part-time caregiver to assist adult clients in their homes in Stockton, California. This is an immediate opening, and candidates should be available to start right away. Caregivers work one-to-one with one client at a time, though they may work with more than one client across shifts. Shifts are typically 3 to 6 hours; the listed schedule specifies a 4-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed. Work is in person at clients' homes. Online training must be completed before starting shifts, although previously earned training certificates may be provided. Caregivers must pass required background and reference checks. All caregivers follow CDC recommendations for COVID-19 guidelines; vaccination is not required, but being fully vaccinated is a plus because some facilities and clients require it.

Requirements

At least one year of caregiving experience.
Valid driver's license for transportation services.
Must enjoy working with seniors.
Must be available for day shifts.
Must be able to pass required background and reference checks.
Must complete online training before starting shifts or provide certificates for training previously completed.
Must be comfortable with 3-to-6-hour part-time shifts, weekdays and weekends as needed, and working with more than one client across shifts.

Nice To Haves

Caregiver certifications are a plus.
Being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist elderly clients, people recovering from injury or surgery, and people with disabilities with activities of daily living.
Provide assistance with cooking, bathing, dressing, toileting, housekeeping, laundry, ambulating, and physical transfers.
Provide transportation services when applicable.
