About The Position

TheKey is hiring experienced caregivers to support clients in St. Louis. Caregivers work one-on-one with clients in their homes, assisting with personal care, companionship, transportation, and light housekeeping. The role offers pay of $17–$22 per hour, with full-time and part-time schedule options and shifts available days, evenings, weekends, and overnights. TheKey describes its local teams as providing caregiver support and opportunities to build meaningful relationships with aging adults.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• HCA Registration with the State of California, including meeting state background requirements; TheKey can help obtain registration upon hire.
• Valid driver's license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
• TB clearance or chest X-ray.
• Must comply with state background screening requirements and be eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with dressing, grooming, bathing, and meals.
• Provide companionship through social engagement, activities, and emotional support.
• Drive clients to appointments and run errands.
• Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
