About The Position

TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home support for aging adults in Beaverton, Portland, Lake Oswego, and surrounding communities. Caregivers help clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. The role offers full-time and part-time availability, with schedules across days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Requirements

• At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
• Empathy, compassion, and kindness.
• Ability to use sound judgment and remain calm in a variety of situations.
• Reliability, dependability, and punctuality.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to drive clients and have a vehicle, car insurance, and registration.
• Must comply with state background screening requirements and be eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
• Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
• Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and take them grocery shopping.
• Provide companionship and social and emotional support through activities such as games and puzzles.
