About The Position

TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one, in-home support to aging adults in Beaverton, Portland, Lake Oswego, and surrounding communities. Caregivers assist clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. The role offers flexible schedules, full-time and part-time availability, paid training, and local management support. Pay is listed at $22–$25 per hour, and a $250 sign-on bonus is offered after 30 hours worked. Benefits and eligibility details may vary by state and location.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience.
• Experience with Alzheimer's or dementia.
• Empathy, compassion, and kindness.
• Ability to use sound judgment and remain calm in a variety of situations.
• Reliability, dependability, and punctuality.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer skills.
• For client driving, have a vehicle, car insurance, and vehicle registration.
• Comply with state background screening requirements.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
• Provide light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
• Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and shop for groceries.
• Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, and other activities.
