About The Position
We are hiring caregivers in the Yorba Linda area. This role involves providing in-home care to clients, assisting them with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. Caregivers will be matched with clients based on their experience and comfort level. Some clients may have dementia or be recovering from surgery, while others may simply require companionship. The ideal candidate is reliable, observant, and willing to learn.
Requirements
- At least six months of hands-on caregiving experience (paid or caring for a family member)
- California Home Care Aide registration, or willingness to get registered
- Current TB clearance
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Comfortable with hands-on personal care
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with bathing and dressing
- Helping clients with toileting and transfers
- Preparing meals
- Performing light housekeeping tasks like vacuuming
- Reminding clients about medications
- Providing companionship
