About The Position

Silverado Beverly Place is hiring a full-time Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role calls for compassion, patience, reliability, integrity, and a team-focused approach to helping residents live with dignity and joy. The caregiver assists with daily living activities, builds relationships with residents and their families, supports residents in a safe and engaging environment, and maintains accurate care records. The position is scheduled for the AM shift, four days on and two days off, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The anticipated pay range is $20–$23 per hour. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable.

Requirements

Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Able to perform active work involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
