About The Position

Silverado Franklin is hiring a full-time Caregiver for an AM shift to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role calls for empathy, reliability, patience, integrity, and a team-focused approach to helping residents live with dignity and joy. The caregiver assists residents with daily living activities, builds relationships with residents, families, and team members, and helps maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The role also includes keeping accurate care records and reporting changes to the nursing team. The schedule is Thursday through Saturday. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable.

Requirements

Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to perform an active role involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working around animals and pets.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
