About The Position
Amada Senior Care is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate, non-medical care and companionship to seniors and veterans in their homes in Bridge City, Texas, and surrounding areas. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent, with care tailored to each client's individual needs. The role offers flexible scheduling and a supportive, team-oriented work environment. Part-time, weekend, and overnight shifts are available.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
- Reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel within a 25-mile radius of Bridge City, Texas.
- Strong communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Encourage client independence and engagement.
