About The Position

Prestige Companion and Homemakers, LLC is seeking a dedicated Caregiver in Middletown, CT. This role involves providing essential support to clients, assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Requirements

• Experience as a Caregiver or Assisting ADL's is required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to drive.
• Able to pass Background check required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a PCA/CNA is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide patient care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or autism.
• Monitor vital signs and observe patients for any changes in condition or behavior.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and proper hygiene practices.
• Operate mobility equipment (e.g., Hoyer lifts) when needed for safe transfers.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document patient observations and report significant changes to appropriate personnel.
